Student complains about police

Is it just me or do the Purdue Police write too many parking tickets? I am sure that there are many other issues around campus to be worried about rather than who is taking up a parking spot in the Recreational Sports Center parking lot.

I remember last year I saw the Purdue Student Security Patrol out writing tickets; that is ridiculous.

I appreciate the work the police do, but the students pay enough money as is; there is no need to nickel and dime us. Maybe we should trade their patrol cars in for those cute little meter maid carts and their handcuffs for a stack of tickets and a pencil.

The parking situation here at Purdue is bad enough; don't make it worse.
