Campus squirrel problem worsens

This is in response to Kevin Knight's letter about squirrels on campus.

I too have felt the wrath of the squirrels. I was making my way to my 12:30 class on Wednesday when, all of a sudden, I saw this cute creature in my path. Instead of moving, it seems we got into a game of "chicken." I lost.

These animals need to be controlled because if we don't do something about them now, who is? We can sit here and let them bully us, or we can form a society against these seemingly harmless animals. If that doesn't work, then I ask one thing of you; next time you see a cute little squirrel on campus, don't give it any attention. Just leave it alone; if we ignore the problem, it'll go away.
