Event deserves Exponent coverage

Despite all the attempts of the Exponent to publicize and cover entertainment events on campus, I found the lack of coverage on the Multicultural Festival that took place on March 3 to be utterly disappointing.

Organized by The Kitchen Table, the event was the first of its kind, with wonderfully coordinated contributions made by many of the cultural organizations on campus. The fact that the Exponent, on March 6, completely ignored it marginalizes the sincere efforts made by the students on this campus to celebrate diversity. I congratulate all the people that participated, as performers, organizers, and audience members and I hope that the Exponent will at least devote substantial effort to covering next year's festival.
