Reader feels BCC has much to offer

Everyone knows the new Black Cultural Center is a beautiful building and it has one of the better computer labs on campus. However, I find it amazing how many students, particularly those who live in the fraternity and sorority houses near the center, use the lab all day and all night and do not attend any of the many events that the BCC offers (guest speakers, Performing Arts Ensemble performances, etc.). Just because the BCC is new and closer than going to a lab in the Liberal Arts and Education Building or another building does not mean you should leech onto the building's computer lab and suck it dry. The BCC has a lot more to offer than a lab, so come to hear a speaker during the week or see an ensemble performance on the weekend before you go get a keg or go to Harry's or whatever. You might be surprised at what the center has to offer.
