My pride turned to disgust in 12 hours today. I proudly wore a Boilermaker hat to the office to celebrate the win over Gonzaga, and then I wanted to hide it when I read that 2,500 or so students thought the way to celebrate and show pride was to burn the property of others. You few students that rioted give the University a bad image worldwide — a bad image to the thousands of us who went before you and have given Purdue University an image of academic and athletic excellence for over 100 years. I hope you are ashamed.
