Pastor Tom lacks proof of claimsFirst of all, I would like to start out and say that in no way am I against any religion. I follow the religion of my choice and due to the way my religion is, we do not try and convert others. Of course, I know that other religions try to convert and that is fine by me. But when you are trying to convert or convince a group of college students that your religion is the way to go, I am referring to Pastor Tom on various afternoons in the Memorial Mall, you need to be able to back up your arguments with hard undeniable facts. Since I feel that a lot of students know about arguing and philosophy, they know that if your argument can be disproved in any way then you have no rational reason in saying that it is right and it cannot be disproved. I personally talked to Tom's friend Roger for about an hour about this, and he just would not see what I was talking about. I was not saying that he should change his beliefs like which he was doing to me. But merely stating that he was not valid in saying that Christianity was right and all other religions are wrong. Because there is no way of proving any of them right or wrong until after we die. All I ask is that if you are going to argue your point, make sure you know how to argue.
