Citizens should support election results

I implore everyone who recognizes the necessity of stability in the United States to be very cautious about his/her actions and sentiment concerning the presidential elections. The votes in Florida are being tallied until Nov. 17. When the result is finally in, I implore you to support the president-elect, albeit the Democrat or Republican. You do not necessarily have to agree with his position on issue, but you must support the legitimacy of his election. The rhetoric by both candidates deeply troubles me. Our economy and most certainly the economies of every other nation in the world are rooted in the stability that the United States represents. If we have protests around the nation rallying the illegitimacy of the president-elect, and if there is longstanding litigation concerning the elections, we certainly will have a constitutional crisis. I ask you not to disregard your beliefs, but I do ask you to consider the gravity of the rhetoric that is coming from both candidates. Surely, the loser of the two candidates will be the one whose actions jeopardize the bedrock of political stability that the United States represents.
