Area restaurants offer specialsBy Nate Cross Since you probably won't be able to make it to Tampa Bay by Sunday for the Super Bowl, the following list was collected to provide you with other fun places to go and watch the game. Find out what bars and restaurants around campus are offering. Cheers. A J Wingers 112 Northwestern Ave. A bucket of 50 wings is only $19.99. Boiler Room 306 West State St. There will be a raffle and drawings for prizes and food specials. The downstairs will be open to watch the big game. Bw-3 Grill & Pub 3400 Teal Road Offering beer specials and prizes (chair, tickets, glasses and more). Four big screen and 14 small screen TVs. Damons 4221 State Road 26 E Festivities include a football toss, a beanbag toss, a wing eating contest, a putting contest, and drink and food specials. They have four big screen TVs to watch. Harry's Chocolate Shop 329 West State St. They will be giving away an inflatable Miller Lite chair at halftime. Hooter's 2327 Sagamore Pkwy S From 4 until close they will be featuring $.30 wings. The Super Bowl party is in conjunction with Budweiser and so they will be offering $1.50 Bud, Bud Light and Amber Bock. There will be giveaways and prizes of Hooter's and Budweiser merchandize. Fosters oilcans are $3.50. After the game they will be having a "Survivor" party. Jake's 135 S Chauncey Ave. Offers Super Bowl watchers food and drink specials, free T-shirt giveaways, and a chance to win Super Bowl merchandise. Neon Cactus 360 Brown St. Closed. Pete's 200 Northwestern Ave. Closed. Veno's Bar & Grill 1400 W State St. People who order food or drinks get a raffle ticket and a chance to win prizes every 15 minutes. Wabash Yacht Club 135 S Chauncey Ave. Will be offering their regular service. Where Else Bar 304 W State St. Closed.
