Jischke to provide great leadershipAfter talking with our new president at the Christmas reception that he and Mrs. Jischke hosted at Westwood, I am convinced that we have another great college leader here at Purdue. I found Martin Jischke to be caring, personable and down-to-earth. I know from friends that when Dr. Jischke left Iowa State, it was in excellent shape. For the many advancements that took place during his tenure there, Dr. Jischke credited the thousands of people who joined with him to achieve the high goals that were set. The Beering years were very bright (a Golden Age) here at Purdue University and I feel the Jischke years will be as well. Thank you. John R. Oilar Purdue Staff |
