Boilers to host Big
Ten track championship
The Purdue women's track team will host the 2001
Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturdy and Sunday in
Lambert Fieldhouse.
Tickets are on sale through the Purdue athletic
ticket office. General admission for adults is $7, while student tickets
are $5. There will be no charge for parking on either day of the event.
The schedule of events includes pentathlon events,
pole vault, shot put, long jump, 3,000 and distance medley relay on
Saturday.
Sunday's events include the weight throw, triple
jump, high jump, the mile, 400, 60, 800, 60 hurdles, 600, 200, 5,000
and 1,600 relay. The weekend's events are scheduled to end by 3:50 p.m.
Sunday.
