Letter makes incorrect accusationsThis is in response to a Feb. 9 Exponent letter written by Philip A. Anderson. Mr. Anderson stated that "all good liberals/socialists" base their arguments on "nothing." This uninformed statement, coming from a self-proclaimed conservative, makes me proud to be a liberal. Mr. Anderson complained of people who make accusations without anything to back it up; it's comforting to me that a person who thinks that five minutes on the Internet is enough research to back up a claim isn't arguing a point that I support. A person needs to "check all the facts" when dealing with any person or group who is trying to give you information not just liberals. Courtney Rodgers Senior, School of Liberal Arts |
