When Purdue's new provost takes office on July 1, one of her primary goals will be to uncover some of the University's resources that are not yet being used.
Sally Frost Mason, the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Kansas and a Purdue alumna, said she wants to discover what the untapped potentials of Purdue are, and then help people reach those potentials.
"Purdue as an institution is one of the premier institutions," said Frost Mason. "(There is) a lot of untapped potential, especially in the area of interdisciplinary work."
