Opinions

Napster hysteria goes overboard

Let's get real folks:

Every day I excitedly thumb my way through a fresh Exponent to find my favorite sections: the comics, the horoscopes and the opinions. The recent letters on Napster have all been very interesting. They are interesting with the respect that they were all written by freshmen, except maybe one. I wonder, shouldn't these people be worrying more about their academic futures instead of free music? I mean honestly, there are more important things in life than downloading the latest *NSYNC's No. 1 (not that there have been any recent ones). I have an idea to solve all of this Napster hysteria. Why don't you all get real and realize that Napster is not some supreme force that one cannot live without. Just go down to Von's and buy the album, and maybe pick up a book while you are there. Open your minds and get off your computer. It's easy, just hit the off button and get out of your chair.
