Game moves to Wednesday

Due to the cancellations and the out-of-the-ordinary weather, the Purdue softball team has rescheduled its game against Southwest Missouri State.

The game, originally scheduled for 2 p.m. today, has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday and will not be a doubleheader as was previously planned. The Boilers will still host the contest.

There was a zero degree wind chill factor Sunday. The Boilers were scheduled to play Saturday and Sunday in the Boilermaker Invitational, but everything did not go as planned.

Purdue played on Saturday as scheduled and won its games with Loyola (Chicago) and Butler, but due to the cold weather, did not finish the tournament play on Sunday.

As of Monday morning, the games were not rescheduled due to the start of the Boilers Big Ten season this weekend.
