Golfer earns Big Ten honor

After a first-place finish at the Dr Pepper Intercollegiate in Pottsboro, Texas, this past weekend, junior golfer Lee Williamson was honored as the Big Ten men’s golfer of the week.

Williamson fired a 142 this past weekend, including a tournament-low round of 70 on day two.

This weekend was the first time Williamson took medalist honors at a collegiate tournament.
