Menu omits European mealsAs an international student, I think the idea of an International Awareness week is wonderful and would be a great asset to the University. However I am both shocked and disappointed to find that in the week's events, while there are no less than 10 Chinese meals, there are no meals representing my country; in fact there are no meals representing my continent. Australia and New Zealand are not represented either. While I understand that there are many Asian students at Purdue, I believe there are also many European students, and it seems ridiculous that they are not represented in an International Awareness week. I hope future International Awareness weeks prove to be of a more international nature. Emma Clothier Junior, School of Liberal Arts |
