Post-game damage shames fansWhen I was in college we protested the war in Vietnam, denial of civil rights and other more "noble" causes. I was disgusted and disappointed when I learned of the destruction following an amazing game played by some hard-working young women. I realize that only a "few" students were involved. But nevertheless, many tax dollars were spent to squelch the problem. Thank you to the women of Purdue basketball for a wonderful season. Shame to those of you who continue to give Purdue fans a bad name! Jennifer J. Vaughan Purdue Alumna |
