Behavior disappoints Purdue alumna

I am very saddened and at the same time embarrassed to read about the student uproar over the women's basketball loss to Notre Dame. What kind of adult behavior is that for a college student?

The student quotes in the article definitely show the levels of maturity. As a Purdue alumna, it's sad to see a school's good name tarnished in the media because students don't know how to handle disappointment. I always thought Purdue students were above that kind of behavior. Destroying other people's property doesn't solve anything and it's a crime. It doesn't change the outcome of the game.

I can only hope that these students learn how to handle their emotions before entering the real world.
