Groups shouldn't impose beliefsI walked by the Memorial Mall on Monday and saw all the crosses that symbolized aborted fetuses. Now I have several questions concerning this and other things that have been going on around here. The main thing is that no group or people have the right to impose their idea of morality on other people. This country was founded on personal freedom. Secondly, while I am ranting, let me say that all people are created equally (U.S. Constitution) which means gays and lesbians should enjoy the same freedom as everybody else. Lastly, on birth control, if you are not ready to be a parent, use it. Say you are married and have sex once a week, there is a high chance that you will be pregnant once a year (A women is fertile for about one week per month) this means that if you are married for 10 years you will have 10 children: talk about population explosion. I have two children and know first hand what it is like to raise them. I do not know of very many people who could handle 10 kids. In a nutshell, be respectful of people, especially those different from you (you could learn from them) and grow up. You are not the only one with a sense of right/wrong or morality.
