In its final competition before the Big Ten Championships,
the Purdue womens golf team came away with a record performance
on Sunday at the Bryan National Collegiate, moving up three spots to
claim fourth place.

score than Purdue in Sundays third round.
"Were looking forward to the improvement
going into the Big Ten Championships," Coach Devon Brouse said
after completion of the third round. "We are very proud of the
record finish we had today, especially the fact that three of our players
broke par."
Three Purdue golfers shot below par and another
Boilermaker made par. Caroline Laurens had a tournament low 68, four
strokes below par, to pace the Boilermakers third round surge.
She finished tied for seventh with a three-round total of 219.

shot a two-under par 70 Sunday. Kari Damron, who finished tied for 17th,
