Chalkings disgrace, litter campus

What a month, well…

I am writing to express my feelings for the month of April. What a great time of the year, not a more beautiful time of the year if you ask me. The weather warms, which brings this desolate campus back to life. The hum of motorcycles is a great indicator of the temperature outside. The outdoors does a little prepping of itself as well. The trees begin to bud out, adding color to the woods, the turkeys begin to gobble and the fish begin to bite. Let us not forget the tasty little mushrooms that start popping up. Doesn't all that sound beautiful?

Well this morning as I walked to class, I set my eyes on quite an ugly sight; the word "Gaypril" was written in chalk. What a disgrace to a beautiful month! Who gave you the right to claim this month as yours? That is a disgrace. People claim that the rioting makes Purdue University look bad, yet we have such writings that litter our campus and people don't complain. I think that I would much rather look at burned dumpsters than a bunch of gay pride hogwash.
