Track team breaks record over weekend

The men's track team completed action at the Sea Ray Relays, an unscored meet, this weekend at Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn.

The 1,600-meter relay team made up of Prentice Stovall, Shaun Guice, Markus Williams and Matt Hartman placed fourth with a season best and school record time of 3 minutes, 9.59 seconds.

The same group of four placed third in the sprint medley relay.

Guice placed third in the high jump with a mark of 7 feet, 3 1/4 inches. Daniel Harris had a personal best mark of 51 feet, 3 inches in the triple jump.

Stovall had a season best time of 10.66 seconds in the 100. Both Hartman (1:51.40) and Jeff Minks (1:51.40) had season bests in the 800.
