Abortion renders unjust
decision
This is in response to Nicholas John's letter on
April 5. The greatest injustice anyone can achieve is not bringing an
"unwanted" child into the world. The greatest injustice is murdering
that innocent child before it has a chance to be born.
Should a mother be allowed to kill her one-month-old
son or daughter because after having it she decides that she doesn't
want or love it? Why not? It is her choice and her life. Explain to
me the difference of murdering a baby that has grown for five months
in the womb versus one that has been outside the womb for a month. Both
are examples of individual life. How is it legal that the former can
be murdered legally and the latter cannot? And don't say "one is born
and one is unborn" because that excuse doesn't fly. Both have a separate
blood supply, nervous system, head, eyes, nose, mouth, body, etc. And
don't use the excuse "abortion is legal" because slavery was once legal
in this country too. Mr. John incorrectly uses the phrase "No one should
be forced to have children." I agree. Women have the choice to get pregnant
or to not get pregnant they shouldn't be forced into pregnancy.
No one has sex by accident. Does a person "fall into sex"? If so,
explain that to me. And please don't include rape and incest
those constitute a fraction of a percentage of abortions. People shouldn't
use outliers to describe the majority. Choose life! It is better than
death!
