Purdue should ban credit card vendors

Informing students about the impact of credit cards is helpful. However, it would be more beneficial if Purdue did not sanction credit card companies to appear on campus in the first place. There is a "catch" to the free T-shirt or other items given to card applicants, and the debt can affect the students for many years to come. Perhaps one should question why the credit card companies are allowed on campus.
