Purdue should sponsor peaceful riotsBrent Robbins (April 23 Exponent letter to the editor) makes a point that is important. The non-violent portion of the riots was fun. If only there was a way to have the student body come together like that in the thousands to peacefully riot. We should sponsor/invent an event for that. I also like the idea of one big "cops and robbers" game with the police in riot gear. We could have a code word so if someone is getting too rough they can stop. Picture it! Wrestling down cops in riot gear, now that would be fun! I have one more separate thought; we seem to really enjoy gathering together in the thousands. Only then do we realize the power of such a large group and not just physical mob power, but as a voting block, economic group etc. we should organize. I say we pick someone we do not like and boycott them, just to test our strength as a whole. Any suggestions? I'd like to boycott the bad resident hall food, but I pay for my meal plan with my housing. That's one for PSG to work on. This random stream of consciousness is brought to you by Drew Bisson.
