The Purdue womens tennis team gets to start anew this weekend at the Big Ten championships in Columbus, Ohio. Action gets underway at 10 a.m. today when the Boilermakers face ninth-seeded Minnesota.
Purdue owns a 6-15 (3-7 Big Ten) record on the season. The Boilermakers lost a close 4-3 match to Minnesota during the season and is looking to avenge the loss. The Old Gold and Black looks to take momentum from last weekends consecutive wins against Michigan State and Michigan.
The Golden Gophers have an 11-8 (3-7 Big Ten) record. Minnesota dropped its last two of the season with a 3-4 loss to Wisconsin and a 2-5 loss to Iowa.
The winner of the match will face No. 1 Northwestern at 10 a.m.
on Friday.
