Service to remember deceased professor

A memorial service will be held for Varro Tyler, a former dean of the Schools of Pharmacy and Pharmacal Sciences and Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences and former executive vice president for academic affairs, on Saturday afternoon.

The Service will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 211 Knox Dr. There will be no visitation.

Memorials can be sent to Covenant Presbyterian Church or the School of Pharmacy addressed to the memory of Tyler.

Soller-Baker Funeral Homes made the arrangements.
