Professors should cancel classes for job fairIn light of the Industrial Roundtable this Tuesday and Wednesday, I feel that seniors should have a mandatory day off from classes on these two days. All of my classes are geared towards graduating seniors, however none of them have scheduled the day off. I am guessing that at least 80 percent of the people in these classes will be attending the job fair. It is true that we should attend the fair during our time off but with more people attending, the lines for popular companies get longer and longer, thus, limiting the companies with whom we can speak. Professors should realize that the goal of our education is to ultimately find a job. Michele Strelka Senior, Schools of Engineering |
