NEW YORK, NEW YORK: Bethany Gainey, a junior in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, wears a shirt asking people to give blood. Gainey is just one student on campus who is doing things to show her support for the Red Cross and patriotism to the country.

On Saturday Bethany Gainey let children spray paint the wheels of her Blazer red, white and blue.

It was just one event in the two days she spent on Memorial Mall, showing her support of the country by providing a place where people could decorate T-shirts in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon Sept. 11.

The children rode by on skateboards Saturday and Gainey, a junior in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, called them over to make T-shirts. In between decorating their shirts, the children convinced her to let them paint her wheels.

Police have not identified the man who found the body.
