Cross country teams compete Saturday

At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the Purdue men's and women's cross-country teams will compete in the Indiana State Invitational.

It's the third tournament for each team this season. In the Purdue Open on Sept. 8, the women's team received first place, while the men finished third. At the Indiana Intercollegiates meet on Sept. 17, the men's and women's teams placed first.

Both teams are ranked in the top ten of the Great Lakes Region, which consists of 42 teams. The women's team is ranked No. 7, while the men's team is ranked No. 9.
