Guys shouldn't hide their boy band prideAs I walk down the halls in my dorm, I hear heavy rock, ghetto rap, classic rock, punk, ska, blues and pretty much every other kind of music. However, I don't hear any pop music. Is it like a phobia for guys to play 'NSYNC or Britney Spears or something? I know almost everybody (whether they admit it or not) likes boy bands. They just don't want to be labeled "homosexual;" I know I'm definitely not homosexual (I get quite a few chicks each weekend actually) and I love boy bands. So, from hence forth, I'm telling all guys on Purdue's campus to quit hiding their love for boy bands and other pop music that is usually seen as teen-age-girl music (it's not, seriously). That's a bunch of poopy. Be true, and support boy bands and their girl counterparts. I guess this letter is over, so bye bye bye. Gareth Yeoman Junior, School of Liberal Arts |
