American freedom allows no injustice

The American concept of freedom is not about buying and taking drugs. It is not about having absolute freedom to do whatever one pleases — that would be anarchy. The American concept of freedom includes ideals such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to vote for our own government, freedom to criticize elected officials (including the president) and their policies and countless others. In some countries people are jailed for believing in a different religion than the majority, for having diverse political views or for attempting to bring a fresh perspective to the common people. Most Americans do not have to worry about being persecuted for these actions. I am not claiming that America is perfect. Injustice is poisoning Americans around the country. Other Americans are suffering from discrimination and hate. The amazing thing, however, is that we as citizens of the United States have the freedom and duty to realize injustice and fight to eradicate it. This, Mr. Hawarey, is my concept of American Freedom.
