Sophomore Troy Havens and senior Derek Miller both won their singles flights in the second and final day of the Boilermaker Invitational Sunday.

Havens defeated Ryan Maarschalk of Western Michigan 6-2, 7-5 in the second round, then rallied from a set down in the title match to knock off the Broncos’ Ravishankar Pathanjali 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Miller defeated Western Michigan’s Erik Lindroos in the second round, 7-6, 6-2. In the championship match, he beat junior teammate Carl McCafferty 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. McCafferty made it to the title match with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over the Broncos’ Michael Findling.

Elsewhere, Dan Swan and Scott Mayer lost 8-3 to top-seeded and second-ranked Scott Lipsky and David Martin of Stanford in the second round of the ITA All-American Championships in Stone Mountain, Ga., on Saturday.

Swan and Mayer, the 28th-ranked pair in the nation, advanced to the main draw after receiving a bye, winning a match by withdrawal and defeating a team from Georgia Tech in the qualifying round.

In their first-round match on Friday, Swan and Mayer upset the nation’s 12th-ranked doubles team of Florida’s Olivier Levant and Eleazar Magallan, 8-4.
