Volleyball squad loses two games to Big Ten rivals

The Purdue volleyball team lost Big Ten road matches to Northwestern and No. 6 Wisconsin this weekend.

The Boilers (2-13, 1-7 Big Ten) were defeated 22-30, 21-30, 16-30 by Wisconsin (14-2, 8-0) on Saturday. Sophomore Eryn Leach led Purdue with 11 kills. Badger All-American Sherisa Livingston paced both squads with 15 kills.

Purdue fell 32-34, 26-30, 30-28, 24-30 to Northwestern on Friday. Sophomore Joanna Lowry led Purdue in kills for the first time this season, with 15. Leach, freshman Lyndsey Phillips and senior Maegan Petersen had 11 kills each.
