Student remains hospitalized after accident in September

A Purdue student is still listed in critical condition following a motorcycle accident that occurred on Sept. 30.

Matthew Ranson, a senior in the School of Technology, is still in the intensive care unit of St. Elizabeth Medical Center after sustaining head and neck injuries.

According to police, Ranson was driving north on Northwestern Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a car near the intersection of Northwestern Avenue and Windsor Drive.
