Student places vote for best album everThis letter is addressed to all you heathens on this campus. In October 16's issue of the Exponent, Mark Ertmer beef-wittedly urged everyone to "go out RIGHT NOW and buy 'Dance to the Music' by Sly and the Family Stone." He later suggested that this might be the best album ever. It boggles the mind how Neanderthals can continue to thrive in our society; I'm referring both to the Mr. Ertmers out there who think albums like this deserve such a title, as well as all the lame people who think Dave Matthews is the cat's meow. Perhaps these people are too busy reading High Times or Teen Beat, but the enlightened few among us know that it's been scientifically proven that Megadeth's "Countdown to Extinction" is, in fact, the best album ever.
