College students should no longer exhibit phase of unfair judgments

Tory Fickle’s letter brought up an old memory. I remember walking down the halls in high school, seeing people wearing all black, sporting spiky dog collars and bracelets. I thought most of these people would outgrow this childish phase and dress in a matter suitable for adults after high school, but I guess I was wrong. It is wrong for children to pick on others, but everybody goes through that as a kid. There is no reason to hate the rest of the world because of the actions of a selected few. I myself won’t be caught dead wearing Abercrombie clothing, but you have no right assuming that everybody that doesn’t worship Satan wears Abercrombie. Wear what you want and spend your money however your black heart desires, but don’t come crying to the Exponent; nobody wants to hear it. If you want to be left alone so badly, why are you calling attention to yourself by writing to the newspaper? It’s also pretty pathetic that you listen to a certain genre of music in order to "fit in" and not because the music sounds good, because we all know that it most certainly does not. And trust me, I don’t want to take away anything from you, the farther away we are the better. Your life is what you make of it, so maybe you should try a little harder. In the words of Jay and Silent Bob, "BONG!"
