Law shouldn’t change; student actions should

Every student at Purdue has their own opinion on drinking and "partying," and I am no different. The point I'm getting at is that the law is the law. I'm sure many students, including myself, have broken the law by consuming alcohol while under the legal age limit (21). Heck, some of us are even dumb enough to drive after breaking the law. Because a majority of college students who drink are under 21 doesn't mean we should change the age limit, and just because there are a "ton" of people over the age of 21 doesn't mean we should raise the age limit. We should just be more careful and exercise more so we can run from the police more quickly when they arrive at the scene; then, there wouldn't be so many minor consumption and public intoxication arrests.
