Boilers win final game
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. The Purdue womens
soccer team finished its regular season schedule with a 2-0 win on the
road at Central Michigan Friday.
It was the seventh shutout of the year for the
Boilermakers (10-5-3), which will host the Big Ten Tournament that begins
Thursday.
Sophomore forward Courtney Coppedge opened the
scoring at the 11:11 mark after receiving a pass from freshman Lauren
Sesselmann.
Sophomore forward Annette Kent scored on a header
at the 82:55 mark for her eighth goal of the year.
