Vegetarians should not request special meals from cafeteria I would like to ask the kind people in food services to start serving sushi. I've decided to give up all other food except that and I find that the dining halls are very limited for my eating habits. I am positive that won't happen, but yet there are a handful of people who want the dining halls to change to suit them because they don't eat meat. Boo hoo. We've all eaten in the dining halls and we all know some of the food isn't the greatest, but most of the time the salad bar is decent. Why should we cater to you just because you don't like your selection? A lot of us would like a New York strip steak, but I don't see them. Another thing that cracks me up is you plant eaters eating meatless hamburgers, hotdogs, and whatever. If eating meat is wrong why do you fantasize about eating products that are based on meat? That's like saying child-molestation is wrong but kiddie-porn is ok because it's not the real thing. If you don't like the way things are for your lifestyle, maybe you should change your lifestyle. And if they do start serving steaks in the dining hall I like mine rare to medium-rare, I want to hear the cow go moooo when I cut into it. Chris Heathcote |
