The Purdue men's basketball team defeated California of Pennsylvania, 78-44, in its first exhibition game of the season on Tuesday night.
Purdue was led by senior guard Keaton Grant’s 14 points and five steals, followed by junior center JaJuan Johnson’s 12 points, three blocks and four rebounds.
Junior guard E’Twaun Moore added 11 points.
Purdue plays its final exhibition game of the season against Kentucky Wesleyan at 7 p.m. on Monday in Mackey Arena before opening the regular season at 7 p.m. on Nov. 13 in Mackey Arena against Cal State-Northridge.
