The Purdue football team snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes, 31-6.

The Boilers (6-2, 2-2 Big Ten) had little trouble getting the offense going as they amassed 431 total yards. Junior quarterback Curtis Painter threw for 315 yards on 29-of-48 with three touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Dorien Bryant had his best game of the season with nine catches for career high 167 yards and two touchdowns.

The defense allowed only six points in the game. Iowa (3-5, 1-4) was scoreless in the second half and tallied just 254 yards in the game.
