Dedicated professor earns teaching award
Robert Lamb, the 2008 Indiana Professor of the Year, taught for 28 years without missing a class.
"I was really proud that I had a streak for 28 years. I taught a whole term with mono (and) a whole term with pneumonia," Lamb said.
The annual award for Professor of the Year is administered by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Winners are selected for their dedication to undergraduate teaching.
