INDIANAPOLIS – The Purdue men's basketball team shut down the nation's top scorer Saturday to beat No. 22 Davidson.
The Boilers held junior guard Stephen Curry to 13 points, well below his average of 31.9, to beat the Wildcats 76-58 in the Wooden Tradition. Curry started the game by missing his first eight shots before hitting a 3-pointer. He finished 5-for-26 in one of the worst shooting performances of his career.
