Green Lantern favored to win against the Flash

Green Lantern Strengths:
* All of his power comes from a ring that originally had supernatural powers. In more recent comics, the ring was mechanically forged by the Guardians of the Universe for their police force.
* The ring is given only to individuals who show great strength, both physically and of character.
* The ring allows the Lantern to conjure basically anything from protective shields to walls. It can move objects, fly and shoot green energy bolts. When necessary, the ring can be the most powerful weapon in the universe.
Weaknesses:
* The only weakness is that the user is powerless without the ring. You have to remember that in recent times there is a group called the Green Lantern Corps. And only the worthy are selected to join, so it's a classy group.
The Flash Strengths:
* He's a good-natured person who got his powers mysteriously, not from a chemical accident.
* He moves and thinks faster than any normal person.
* By moving and thinking faster, he can break many of the laws of physics. He can dodge bullets, run over water or walk through walls.
Weaknesses:
* He doesn't really have a weakness to any specific thing, but he can be stopped because he can't take much physical punishment.
Winner:
Chris Reigle, a junior in the College of Liberal Arts, said if the two superheroes went head to head, the Green Lantern would win.
"All he would have to do is trap the Flash and fly him into space," he said. "The only chance the Flash would have is to steal the ring, and he would need bit of a head start to do that. The Green Lantern could just shield himself. In a fair fight, Green Lantern, hands down."
