Printer-friendly version 'Big Brother' to hold local auditionsBy Craig DavisonFeatures Editor A casting call for the sixth season of CBSs reality television show "Big Brother" will be visiting the area Friday night. Ted Hovermale, an account representative for WLFI, said that the station is conducting auditions from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chumleys. They will send the audition tapes on to CBS. This is the first time the station has conducted auditions for one of CBSs reality TV shows. Hovermale said people auditioning will have up to two minutes in front of the camera to express why they are the best candidate. "We want people to try and be creative and interesting," said Hovermale. There are a few rules for auditioning, however. Those auditioning must be at least 21 years old. They also must bring a copy of their birth certificate or social security card along with two photographs one close-up portrait and one full body shot. There is also an application available online. Hovermale said a link to the application can be found at WLFIs Web site. The station prefers each person to fill out the application, which is more than 10 pages, before coming to audition.
