The Houston Chronicle has reported that former Purdue point guard has transferred to the University of Houston.

Indianapolis native Johnson completed his sophomore year at Purdue this season. He will have two years’ eligibility remaining to play for new Cougars coach Kelvin Sampson.

As a head coach, Sampson most recently led Indiana where he was fired during the 2008 season for violating NCAA rules.
