More than 100 students gathered, supported by faculty members and some administrators, to let the Purdue community know that they have had it with racism on campus.

Official demands of the protesters have yet to be released, but members of the Purdue Social Justice Coalition have stated they will be available by the end of the day. The Coalition will be requesting a response to their demands by the end of the fall semester.

Venetria Patton, Purdue provost fellow on diversity, was present at the rally. Many protesters were changing "Where's Mitch?" as well as holding signs that said the same. Mitch Daniels was not present at the rally.

The Exponent will continue to follow this story.
