The story of Tyler Trent, the Purdue superfan who died on Jan. 1, continues to resonate throughout the country days after his death.

News stories and tributes have spanned local and national broadcasts and even within professional sports.

On Jan. 3. NBA's The Inside crew spent three minutes of its broadcast talking about the impact Trent had on people and cancer research.

ESPN's Scott Van Pelt participated in a Jan. 3 The Dan Dakich radio show, too. It can be heard here.

Trent will be remembered at a 6 p.m., Tuesday, funeral at College Park Church, 2606 W. 96th St., Indianapolis. The funeral will be livestreamed by the church and can be seen here.

A campus vigil will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday in front of Purdue's Hovde Hall.
