Two Purdue students were arrested after allegedly trespassing at Ross-Ade Stadium Oct. 8.
Brianna Kehoe and Samuel Obergfell, 20, were reportedly found by police trying to climb up a goal post. They tried to run away from officers, even attempting to jump over one of the gates, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Obergfell got over the post, but the officer apprehended him when he stayed behind to help Kehoe get over after she got stuck, according to the affidavit. The officer then handcuffed Obergfell and secured him to the gate after Obergfell tried to push him away.
Kehoe slid out of her hoodie when the officer tried to apprehend her, and she ran away, according to the affidavit, but she came back when she realized the officer still had her phone.
Both Obergfell and Kehoe were intoxicated, blowing .181 and .155, respectively.
Kehoe and Obergfell were booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail and charged with criminal trespass, resisting law enforcement and possession of alcohol as a minor.
